YORKTOWN, N.Y. - Rain and wind storms knocked out power to homes across Westchester County yesterday.

The town said clean up efforts continue today, April 14, as roads are still blocked with downed trees. The Highway Department is waiting on ConEd to clear many of the areas.

After conference calls with ConEd and NYSEG, Supervisor Matt Slater said the storm brought high winds and dangerous gusts and there were at least a dozen roads blocked by fallen trees.
