YORKTOWN, N.Y. - The fifth annual Harvest Square Dance sponsored by the Sierra Club Lower Hudson Group was held Saturday, Sept. 22, at Faraway Farms on Baptist Church Road. Dozens in attendance enjoyed old-time square and line dancing with friends and fellow “greenies.”

Dinner and dancing was preceded by a tour of the farm, where people met alpacas and Icelandic horses. Food dishes and desserts came from Kathleen’s Tea Room in Peekskill and a veteran dance caller was on hand from Foot and Fiddle Dance Co. There was also wine and beer from a local supplier, artisanal ice cream from Blue Pig in Croton and a raffle of an alpaca wool throw.
