YORKTOWN, N.Y. – Some seriously talented artists turned out for the first-ever Battle of the Jack-o-Lanterns, held Oct. 19-20 at the Yorktown Grange Fairgrounds. All artists, who displayed dozens of Jack-o-Lanterns and performed live painting, carving or sculpting demonstrations, selected charities of their choice, with the four winners earning $1,000 for the organizations.
