CARMEL, N.Y. – More than 70 golfers participated in the Yorktown Lions Club’s annual “Mulligans and Margaritas Golf Event” held Wednesday, June 5, at the Centennial Golf Course in Carmel.

As part of their registration fee, the golfers enjoyed a round of golf, lunch, and then dinner. More than 80 gift baskets, which were then raffled off after dinner, were donated for this event.

All proceeds from the golf tournament will be given back to the community.

The Yorktown Lions support, for example, DARE, SPARC, Guiding Eyes for the Blind, VA Hospital, Support Connection, Yorktown Food Pantry, high school scholarships, Midnight Runs to New York City, the Yorktown Halloween parade and party, and Easter Egg Hunt. Also, the summer concerts, held at the Jack DeVito Veterans Memorial Field, are organized and funded by the Yorktown Lions.
