The Harvey School’s admissions team will host the first of 10 weekly virtual informational sessions Wednesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. Each of the events scheduled to run every Wednesday through December will have its own specific focus.
The first session this week, titled “Explore the Middle School,” is designed for families interested in learning about Harvey’s dynamic academic and extracurricular programs for children in grades six through eight. The one-hour online Zoom discussion will include a welcome from Harvey’s Director of Admissions Bill Mena.
“I am very much looking forward to greeting families and telling them about the extraordinary opportunities Harvey middle schoolers have to learn, explore, and grow in a small school setting on our beautiful, sprawling 125-acre campus in Katonah,” Mr. Mena said.
The expansiveness of Harvey’s campus and the small-sized classes have served the school well in being able to open on time in September with in-person classes while following a state-approved school-reopening plan that adheres to COVID-19 guidelines. The school is also offering a hybrid learning option or fully remote to those students who opted to stay at home and Zoom into live classes on campus.
