During this unprecedented public health crisis, Halston Media, its affiliated newspapers (Mahopac News, The Somers Record, Yorktown News, North Salem News and The Katonah Lewisboro Times) and all of our TAPinto sites are dedicated to providing accurate and up-to-date news on the coronavirus pandemic.
TAPinto does not have a paywall, so you can read all of your local news directly on TAPinto at no charge.
We realize that in this trying time, our communities, including local businesses, are facing adversity and have an increased need to communicate with customers, clients and the community at-large.
As a result, starting today, Halston Media is offering all local businesses free content marketing services on TAPinto through April 30th through our self-serve platform, including press releases and event listings. Businesses can submit hours of operation, offers, services, and much more.
Depending on your town, businesses can go to either: www.tapintomahopac.net; www.tapintosomers.net; www.tapintoyorktown.net; www.tapintonorthsalem.net; or www.tapintoklt.net (KLT stands for Katonah-Lewisboro). Once you go to the site, you need to register if you aren’t already registered. Then, on the right-hand part of the screen, about 1/3 of the way down, you should press “Submit Content.” Choose Press Release/Announcement or Calendar Event Listing and fill out the form provided. When businesses submit press releases/announcements or calendar event listings, they can include photos and even embed shareable video. Once you submit your content, our editors approve it on their end.
Halston Media values our readers and the communities we serve. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions about how to utilize these content marketing features. As always, we will continue our commitment to objectively and accurately reporting the news as it breaks.
