Three-part series will cover Alzheimer’s disease, estate planning & real estate

Rye, NY: The Osborn, a private, non-profit continuum of care community, announced a three-session webinar series on ‘Planning for the Future’ – exploring crucial topics concerning the future of seniors amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Hosted by The Osborn’s Christa Picciano-Daniello, the sessions will present experts discussing timely issues including challenges of Alzheimer’s disease during the pandemic, estate planning during COVID-19, as well as changes in the local real estate market. All events are complimentary and open to the public.

Meg Boyce, LMSW, Vice President, Programs and Services of the Alzheimer's Association, will discuss the challenges of Alzheimer's disease amid the COVID crisis. Find out what resources are available to caregivers and how the pandemic is disproportionately affecting this population. The physical and emotional impact of the disease, scientific advances, and techniques to help keep caregivers healthy will also be covered.

November 18, 2020, 1:00 – 2:30 pm

“A Time to Plan - Estate Planning amid the COVID Crisis”

Mari Galvin, Partner at Cassin & Cassin, and Michael LaMagna, Partner at Riker Danzig, will present a session that explores how a medical crisis or unexpected death can turn the world upside down. They will discuss what can be done to have things in order should an unexpected event arise, what documents you should have in place, and who can ultimately make decisions on your behalf.
