Linden, NJ - On March 3, 2026, a raccoon was killed by a dog in the area of Fay Ave & E. Elizabeth Ave was killed by a dog, and that raccoon subsequently tested positive for rabies. This is the second racoon to test positive this year; another case was reported in January in the area of E.
