A Call to Action on Healthcare

September 24, 2017

I am a mother of two young children.  I am basically ...

How to be a Doctor in Seven Years

Who wouldn’t be completely at ease with a 25-year-old performing their open-heart surgery? Joking aside, many students and parents are attracted to accelerated undergraduate/graduate degree programs.  While some of the most common exist in the realms of medicine, engineering, and business, more and more are cropping up in fields like physical therapy, teaching, counseling, and ...

Eliminate Your 'Pet Peeves' of Decorating with These Helpful Hints

You justly love your dog or cat and, if you love pets that much, maybe it's even your dog and cat.

What you don't love are some of the shall we say more challenging aspects of pet ownership as it relates to your living space, specifically the effects a pet can have on the wear and tear of the abode you decorated with the same levels of devotion and adoration you bestow on ...

Give Me Some Credit

I used to think I was special.

But it turns out I am not.  I am just one measly name in 143 million.

You see, that’s the number of lucky Americans who had their personal data purloined in a massive data breach at Equifax, the credit reporting agency.  At least I am not alone.

I checked the special Equifax website the other day ...

When we truly share in a ...

A New Voice and a Choice for New Providence

My family moved to New Providence from New York City 20 years ago when our one-bedroom apartment could no longer accommodate our growing family.  We sought a community that we could afford, had great schools and a fairly easy commute into Manhattan. New Providence fit our criteria. I still remember the strong impression I had when we found our first house on Hawthorne Drive; I knew we ...
