Sparta Girl Chased by Man in White Van

SPARTA, NJ – A Sparta High School student was out for a run on Monday evening in her neighborhood in Sparta Mountain when she was chased by a man in a van.  Finishing out her run, the girl was heading up the hill on Mount Pleasant Road when she noticed a white van pull up behind her.

Sparta's New Police Chief Looks to the Future

SPARTA, NJ – Sparta Police Department will have a new chief as of June 2.  Neil Spidaletto will be promoted to the position in a ceremony open to the community in the Sparta High School auditorium, Spidaletto’s alma mater.
